Tippet Rise featured on the PBS NewsHour!
October 16, 2019
We were so honored this summer to host the crew from the PBS NewsHour, one of the most-watched news programs on American television. The NewsHour’s senior correspondent and chief arts correspondent, Jeffrey Brown, and his crew visited in August to explore Tippet Rise and capture footage and interviews. The segment aired last week, on Friday, October 11, on more than 350 PBS member stations nationwide. During their visit to Tippet Rise, Mr. Brown and the NewsHour crew explored the land and the land art and attended concerts. They also interviewed visiting artists, guests, art center staff, and Tippet Rise cofounders, Peter and Cathy Halstead. We are so grateful for the coverage, which can be viewed online by clicking on “More info” below. Thank you, PBS, Jeffrey Brown, Judy Woodruff, and crew!
