For his debut performance at Tippet Rise, the remarkable young pianist Julien Brocal will play 20th-century works by Maurice Ravel, Sergei Bortkiewicz, and Federico Mompou. Brocal's first solo recording, of works by Frédéric Chopin, was released in January 2017 by Rubicon Classics and received critical acclaim from the international press, including BBC Music Magazine, which called it "spellbinding."
